CEO - Patrick Barry
Patrick Barry, started in the Pharmaceutical business in 1994, since then he has built up an enviable reputation across Ireland and Europe within the pharmaceutical industry.
All logistical support, packing, distribution, and delivery to pharmacies and hospitals and governmant agencies, have been directed by Pat, and his management team, over that period. His success rate within the Pharmaceutical industry has been recognised and acknowledged by a number of high profile industry awards from Pharmaceutical companies..
Pat was educated at Presentation Brothers College Cork and is the current promoter of the Global Pharamaceutical Centre of Excellence. Pat's main goals are strong coroporate governance and social responsibility both for Pharmadel and within the pharmaceutical business worldwide
Des Barry
Director. Pharmacy and Hospital Division
Des Barry has been employed within the banking and export sector for the past 35 years. Des has extensive business interests in Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe.
His knowledge and expertise in the import and export markets have resulted in increased trading contacts that have become invaluable to the company moving forward.
Des assumes responsibility for managing customer service representatives and account managers working for Pharmadel within the pharmacy, hospital and government sectors.
Alf Wade
Director. Logistics & Regulatory Compliance.
With almost 40 years experience in the areas of Warehousing and Distribution within the high volume FMCG sector Alf has worked at senior managerial level with some of the largest companies in the Food, Drink and Pharmaceutical industries, including Musgrave SuperValu/Centra, Diageo and Cahill May Roberts.
Alf holds a Diploma in Professional Management and also holds qualifications with IIPMM, Cork VEC, IITD & WSET, Alf is also a member of the Irish Istitute of Training & Develpement.
Alf assumes responsibilty for all logistical and operational issues within Cork and the southern half of the country as well as overall responibility for ensuring that all of Pharmadels operations and procedures comply with all relevant GDP guidelines as laid down by the IMB and the EMEA.
Aidan Barry
Director. Procurement
Aidan Barry oversees all procurement and supplier contract negotiations worldwide . Aidan spent 19 years overseeing business development and procurement from Europe and Asia into Ireland.
He currently deals with all pharmaceutical wholesalers globally and negotiates all pricing contracts on behalf of Pharmadel. Aidans' interests include Rugby, Sailing and Hurling.
Jeff Roche
Director. Operations
Jeff Roche has been with Pharmadel for over 4 years with responsibility for the tracking, training and delivery of all fleet logistics within the Pharmadel group. Jeff has extensive experience within the Irish transport sector and has been involved in logistics for the past 18 years, Jeff also has considerable experience with RORO and container operations to and from the UK and mainland Europe
